Position Overview

As a Medical Scheduler at reputed company, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our scheduling processes. This is a 100% remote opportunity, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home, provided you reputed company in one of the following states: AL, AZ, GA, ID, NC, TX, UT, or WA. You will be responsible for handling high call volumes, scheduling and pre-registering outpatient procedures, and communicating professionally with patients, provider offices, and insurance companies.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle high call volumes and communicate professionally with patients, provider offices, and insurance companies to resolve scheduling and registration issues.
• Schedule and pre-register outpatient procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Obtain and verify insurance, demographic, and clinical information to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Follow compliance and authorization requirements, adhering to industry standards and guidelines.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient data protection.

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications:

• A High School diploma or GED.
• A minimum of 3+ years of medical office experience, preferably in a scheduling or registration reputed company.
• Knowledge of radiology procedures, insurance, scheduling, and medical terminology.
• Strong communication, multitasking, and customer service skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to navigate between multiple software systems, with experience in reputed company reputed company and Word.
