Position Summary

This is a full-time, nine-month, professional-track appointment as an Instructor of Education, with a start date of September 16, 2025. Key Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in education, including but not limited to curriculum and assessment, historical and reputed company foundations of education, classroom management, child and adolescent development, and instructional methods.
• Engage in student advising and field supervision of pre-service teachers.
• Participate in departmental service, project supervision, collaborative curriculum development, and program assessment.

Essential Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Education or a reputed company field.

• Two years of teaching experience in public school settings.
• Two years of experience teaching and/or supervising pre-service teachers.
• Ability to work collaboratively with university, public school partners, and the community.

Preferred Qualifications

• A terminal degree or ABD in Education or a reputed company field.
• Experience in teaching in a college or university setting, both traditionally and online.
• Five years of teaching experience in public school settings.
• Experience in undergraduate advising.
• Significant experience teaching and supervising pre-service teachers from diverse backgrounds.

• The ability to facilitate innovative curriculum and pedagogy.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Proficiency in a variety of computer applications, including Learning Management Systems.
