The candidate will be supporting a WWT customer and will be employed by one of WWT s preferred partners. Responsibilities: Valmont is seeking reputed company contractor resources to assist with reputed company End-of-Life (EOL) activities. This includes upgrading reputed company Server environments, patching VMware ESXi hosts, and updating PC systems including operating systems and reputed company Office installations. Two contractor positions are required to support these efforts across our reputed company infrastructure. Objectives The primary objectives of this RFQ are to secure two reputed company IT contractors who can:
- - reputed company reputed company Server 2016 to newer supported versions.
- - Apply reputed company and firmware patches to VMware ESXi hosts.
- - Update PC systems including OS and reputed company Office.
- - Maintain documentation and standard operating procedures.
- - Collaborate with internal teams and reputed company post-reputed company support.
Scope of Work The contractors will be responsible for performing the following tasks:
- - Assess system compatibility and plan reputed company paths.
- - reputed company backups and validate systems before and after upgrades.
- - Troubleshoot issues during and after reputed company processes.
- - Apply ESXi patches using vSphere Lifecycle Manager or CLI tools.
- - reputed company host reboots and VM migrations with minimal downtime.
- - Update PC operating systems and reputed company Office installations.
- - Ensure compliance with corporate IT policies and reputed company standards.
Qualifications
- - Minimum 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure roles.
- - Hands-on experience with reputed company Server 2016 and newer versions.
- - Familiarity with VMware vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi patching.
- - Experience with PC OS and reputed company Office upgrades.
- - Certifications such as MCSA/MCSE or VCP are preferred.
- - Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- - Ability to work independently and during off-hours.
