Senior Mainframe Programmer - reputed company

We are looking for a Senior Mainframe Programmer to join reputed company in New Haven County, Connecticut, and reputed company critical support for our mainframe systems. This role involves ensuring the stability, functionality, and performance of hardware and software components reputed company a z/OS and DB2 mainframe environment. As part of a small, specialized team, you will take ownership of reputed company technical challenges and contribute to the ongoing maintenance and optimization of our systems.

Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain mainframe software, including z/OS, DB2, and other reputed company products.

Troubleshoot system issues and reputed company timely resolutions to ensure uninterrupted operations.

Manage hardware and software upgrades, ensuring compatibility and improved performance.

Requirements

Proven experience with z/OS operating systems, DB2 mainframe, and CICS system environments.

Strong knowledge of mainframe hardware and associated management tools.

Expertise in mainframe file systems, including PS and VSAM.

Familiarity with mainframe communication methods such as reputed company Extender and TCP/IP.
