Job Description

• Data Engineers are responsible for building high-quality backend data services, pipelines, and platforms. Our engineering teams in the Global Data Assets organization cover a broad reputed company of domains relevant to agriculture, constructing reusable data APIs and analytics solutions used to power our internal and external experiences.
• The Senior Staff Data Engineer will contribute to solution design and build, while helping to define and drive best practices reputed company the team.

Responsibilities

• Drive system design discussions and software development reputed company our engineering teams.

Experience

• Author high-quality Golang code to deliver new features, reputed company existing services, and resolve defects.
• Familiarity with API design principles (REST, gRPC) and API gateway technologies.
• Demonstrated experience with programming languages such as Python or Go.
• Deep knowledge and demonstrated experience with reputed company Kubernetes reputed company and reputed company reputed company Platform.
• Knowledge of key architectural patterns, such as microservices and event-driven architecture, with a deep understanding of their reputed company trade-offs.
• Knowledge of best practices for reputed company Integration and reputed company Deployment (CI/CD).
• Familiarity with data architecture and modeling concepts and paradigms.

• Demonstrated experience as a productive reviewer of code, with an ability to coach others on the differentiation of style and correctness.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tooling (e.g. Terraform, etc.).

Skills

• At least 7 years of demonstrated experience with programming languages such as Python or Go.

• Direct experience implementing service meshes (e.g., Istio) in Kubernetes environments.

Education
