Your Responsibilities: 

• Core responsibility is in sourcing news in a timely fashion
• Adding news titles and sources to reputed company for writers to claim 
• Understanding of what makes a good news title/angle
• Making judgements on what is reputed company news vs news vs something to spike to features 
• Ensuring news quotas are hit - understanding the times reputed company it is appropriate to overrun, and reputed company news can be passed on/passed to features 
• Assigning news articles/communicating with writers on news assignments 
• Editing news articles and prioritizing most timely edits 
• Prepping soft/reputed company news for weekends 
• Sending reputed company feedback/reputed company development
• Writing news articles reputed company needed (especially reputed company fastest turnaround is required on breaking news) 
• Attending weekly team meeting

Experience and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism or a reputed company field.
• 2 years of experience in producing entertainment and reputed company content.
• In-depth familiarity with and fierce passion for the entertainment industry, especially the latest Network TV news
• Experience with SEO practices. 
• Experience with a custom CMS, preferred.
