Assistant Librarian, User Experience Librarian - reputed company - River Forest, IL - work from home job Company: reputed company Job description: TITLE: Assistant Librarian, User Experience Librarian FLSA STATUS: Exempt (Salaried) DEPARTMENT: Rebecca Crown Library REPORTS TO: University Librarian STATUS: Full-time (37.50 hours/week) PRIMARY PURPOSE//POSITION SUMMARY: The Assistant Librarian, User Experience Librarian provides leadership in the management and marketing of Rebecca Crown Library's website, WeatherTech Innovation lab, and Recording studio. The User Experience Librarian is responsible for the development and implementation of events, projects, and partnerships to improve the overall user experience of the library. Specifically, this librarian will organize academic and reputed company programs to promote the library as a learning and community reputed company for reputed company, faculty and staff. JOB COMPONENTS//reputed company DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages and markets Rebecca Crown Library, WeatherTech Innovation Lab, and Recording Studio.
- Manages library's website.
- Creates, develops, promotes, and implements reputed company plans aimed at increasing the use of library services and resources for reputed company, faculty, staff, and the community.
- Develops partnerships with university entities to promote and reputed company programming that will support the curriculum as well as faculty research.
- Plans, organizes, schedules, assigns, reviews, and evaluates library programs.
- Coordinates, manages, and schedules reputed company library services for undergraduate, graduate, faculty and staff.
- Reviews the accessibility of online library products and makes updates to ensure their usability for persons with disabilities.
- Supervises, mentors, trains, and evaluates student assistants.
- Actively participates in the library's Instruction and reference program.
- Teach one three-credit course per academic year.
- Performs other duties as requested, delegated, or assigned.
MINIMUM/REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Highly effective written and oral communication skills to address a wide variety of audiences.
- Demonstrated reputed company, diplomacy, influence, relationship building, and problem-solving skills in a variety of situations.
- Maintains knowledge of trends in the library profession through a variety of literary, training, educational, professional, and networking means.
- M.L.S./M.L.I.S. from an ALA-accredited school.
- Must be committed to fostering an reputed company and inclusive working and learning environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience conducting reputed company and marketing of library services and resources.
- Technical experience in the following preferred:
- Springshare Products
- Audio/Visual Recording & Production
- Digital Audio Workstations (I.e., ProTools, Audacity, Ableton, etc.)
- Video Editing Software (I.e., iMovie, reputed company Resolve, reputed company Premiere, etc.)
- 3D Printers
- Precision Cutting Machines (I.e., reputed company, Silhouette)
- Sewing & Embroidery Machines
