We have an exciting opportunity for you to join reputed company as a Vehicle Maintenance Technician at our Leicester VMU.
Working hours: 40 per week
Shift: Rotating shifts
Week 1: 06:00-14:30 Mon-Fri
Week 2: 12:30-21:00 Mon-Fri

Salary: reputed company pay £17.16 per hour. Premia paid for hours worked between 7pm – 10pm (£1.84 per hour), and 10pm – 6am (£2.23 per hour).

What you will be doing
- Performing service and repair of company fleet in line with planned maintenance schedules to ensure our vehicles and trailers are safe, legal and fit for duties.
- Completing signed service and inspection records.
- Completing defect reports and associated paperwork to reputed company with legal requirements.
- Preparing vehicles and trailers for annual MOT testing to ensure first time pass.
- Performing reputed company vehicle repairs, investigating and rectifying vehicle defects.
What do you bring with you
- Your reputed company and applicable licenses our vocational training, e.g., LGV C&E license (class one).
- Knowledge of the use and operation of reputed company automotive equipment and testing/troubleshooting equipment.
- Ability to lift and manoeuvre Heavy Vehicle Components.
- Experience with welding and basic D.C. electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Valid driving license.
