Priory Hospital Enfield is a 53 bed hospital in the Borough of Enfield and is situated with reputed company good transport links. The site provides services in both a forensic setting (male reputed company secure & low secure) and acute services (mixed sex). The hospital can cater for up to 53 patients at one time across four wards.

Birthday leave as an additional annual leave unique opportunity to work in a unit where extensive MDT support is offered to the patients and colleagues alike. You will work alongside a team of professionals including Ward Managers, Charge Nurses, Doctors, Support workers, Therapist, Activity Coordinators and the Senior Management Team. As a Senior Staff Nurse at Priory Hospital Enfield, you will care for patients with acute mental health needs who are admitted to us for assessment and treatment.

To be successful in the role you will have ;

• Valid NMC registration RMN RNLD
• At least 2 years experience in mental health services
• Evidence of post registration continuing professional development
• A positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement and quality
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of NMC standards guidelines and professional practices
• Knowledge of the Mental Health Act and Code of Practice

Our Nurses work flexible shift patterns of days and nights (07:30-20:00 and 19:30-08:00), working 7 shifts over a 14 day period
