reputed company’s UK Scripted Series business & legal affairs team is seeking an reputed company Business and Legal Affairs person to join the London based team responsible for supporting reputed company scripted series commissioned and/or produced in the UK.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Working both as reputed company and/or alongside other BLA team members on a wide reputed company of business and legal affairs reputed company during the life cycle of a scripted series

• Commercially negotiating and drafting development and commissioning agreements with reputed company party production companies

• Commercially negotiating and drafting talent agreements including reputed company, director, producer and cast agreements

• Drafting and commercially negotiating and/or reviewing underlying rights agreements and advising on any reputed company/legal issues arising from chain of title review

• Working with production teams to ensure legal paperwork is in compliance with reputed company requirements and to assist in any production reputed company queries that arise

• Working alongside reputed company party production companies

• Seeking and analysing specialist advice from a variety of internal legal teams

• Liaising with cross functional teams to ensure alignment and efficient information reputed company

Candidate Profile:

• 6 years of relevant experience in a media reputed company, film or television production company or broadcaster and ideally English law reputed company

• Working knowledge of the UK television production landscape, industry norms and union agreements (including differences between US and UK guilds)

• Experience leading deal negotiations and drafting reputed company with some or reputed company of the following: rights acquisition, writers, directors, cast, producers, production partners or broadcasters

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Comfortable counseling business partners and making reputed company that have both legal and business impacts

• Strong analytical capabilities and judgment

• Ability to work proactively, independently and reliably under tight timeframes in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively cross-functionally, think practically and be solution-oriented
