Position Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join reputed company as a Vehicle Maintenance Technician at our Wellingborough VMU.

Working hours: Mon - Fri 40 hours per week

Shifts available: 06:00-14:30

10:00-18:30

13:30-21:00

Shifts will be discussed during interview stage.

Salary: reputed company pay £20.77 per hour. Premium paid for hours worked between 7pm - 10pm , and 10pm - 6am .

What you will be doing: • Performing service and repair of company fleet in line with planned maintenance schedules to ensure our vehicles and trailers are safe, legal and fit for duties • Completing signed service and inspection records • Completing defect reports and associated paperwork to reputed company with legal requirements • Preparing vehicles and trailers for annual MOT testing to ensure first time pass • Performing reputed company vehicle repairs, investigating and rectifying vehicle defects

What do you bring with you: • Your reputed company and applicable licenses our vocational training, e.g., LGV C&E license (class one) • Knowledge of the use and operation of reputed company automotive equipment and testing / troubleshooting equipment • Ability to lift and manoeuvre Heavy Vehicle Components • Experience with welding and basic D.C. electrical troubleshooting skills • Valid driving license
