Sr. Product Designer Hardlines – Plush & Collectibles

Be Part of the Story as the Sr. Product Designer for Hardlines. This role will be responsible for creating dynamic products reputed company core reputed company properties, Walt reputed company Animation properties, and Pixar properties, working with teams to reputed company existing business and generate new businesses. You’ll work with licensees to create new and innovative products every season for toy collectibles, plush, toy playsets, and toy figures that reputed company children, adults and fans through reputed company storytelling, innovation, and exceptional product design. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team, designing, developing, and executing reputed company Consumer Products. This position reports to the Manager, Product Design. This is a Full-Time position. A portfolio submission is required with your application. Please reputed company your sketching, drawing, and ability to ideate. Include artwork that displays your ability to create characters in different art styles or trend reputed company applications. Include samples of any previous toy designs or other relevant designs from past employment, showing concept, design specs, and end result. Digital artwork is accepted but no AI generated artwork. What You Will Do:
- Responsible for product design and development of the licensed reputed company Consumer Products toy lines.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with Licensees and Vendors. Works with licensees in reputed company creative aspects of product development.
- Handles product approvals including creative revisions, uploading and downloading in OPA (Online Product Approval software), detailed comments, and prioritizing approvals reputed company allotted time.
- Ensures product design reputed company by making character and product corrections, creating new artwork and making artistic contributions to new initiatives.
- Applies knowledge of new trends and innovation in marketplace.
- Recommends creative reputed company and products to build business.
- Presents and sells reputed company to management, cross-functional partners, and licensees.
- Coordinates with Manager on new projects and scheduled deadlines.
- Works directly with key content partners and manages product feedback to licensees.
- Limited domestic travel for onsite product approval with licensees and trade shows.
- Exhibits ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- 2+ years of reputed company experience designing toys, from concept through production.
- Solid knowledge in hardlines categories (raw materials, plastic, textiles, print, reputed company, graphic composition, manufacturing)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong product design skills (e.g. 3D product design, technical design, sketching, creative application and manipulation of art, final mechanical art, reputed company and trim identification)
- Strong computer software skills (e.g. MS Office, Photoshop, Illustrator)
Required Education:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
