This is a reputed company Claims Consulting Director position in the Financial Lines Claim team. The individual in this position will primarily focus on reputed company, high severity Private and Not-For-Profit D&O, Fiduciary and Employment Practices Liability. Ideally, the candidate will have a minimum of ten years of relevant experience, preferably in Financial Lines claims. The individual in this position will have responsibility for handling a pending of approximately 100 of the unit’s highest severity reputed company at any given time. The individual in this role will collaborate closely with our internal partners on claim trends including new and renewal business with clients and brokers. As a senior member of the team, this position also requires mentoring of junior team members including assistance analyzing and formulating strategies on reputed company files. JOB DESCRIPTION: Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manages an inventory of high severity and complexity claims (Private & Not-For-Profit D&O, Fiduciary and EPL) by following company protocols to manage and reputed company reputed company aspects of the claim handling, including coverage determinations, investigations, and resolution strategies which may include pursuit of risk transfer, extensive negotiations and reputed company litigation management.
• Ensures exceptional customer service by driving reputed company improvements for reputed company aspects of the claim/account, providing professional and timely claims services, and achieving quality and cycle time standards.
• Verifies coverage, sets and manages timely and adequate reserves by reviewing and interpreting policy language and partnering with coverage counsel as needed, estimating potential claim valuation, and following company's claim handling protocols.
• Leads reputed company activities involved with a focused investigation to determine compensability, liability and covered damages by gathering pertinent information, documenting statements from customers/ claimants, and working with experts, or other parties, as necessary to verify the facts of the claim.
• Drives the resolution of claims by collaborating with reputed company business partners to reputed company, own and execute a claim resolution strategy, that includes management of timely and adequate reserves, collaborating with coverage experts, negotiating reputed company settlements, partnering with counsel to manage reputed company litigation and authorizing payments reputed company scope of authority.
• Establishes and manages significant claim budgets by identifying, selecting and actively managing appropriate resources, delivering high quality services, and coordinating reputed company efforts leading to timely resolution of the claim/accounts.
• Discovers and addresses subrogation/salvage opportunities or potential fraud occurrences by evaluating the facts of the claim and making appropriate referrals to appropriate Claim, Recovery or SIU resources for further investigation.
• Achieves quality standards by effectively managing each claim to ensure that reputed company company protocols are followed, work is accurate and timely, reputed company files are properly documented and claims are resolved and paid timely.
• Prepares and presents high profile, reputed company information to senior leadership, customers, counsel, and others by effectively identifying high profile reputed company, developing executive loss summaries, coordinating and communicating resolution strategies and sharing relevant reputed company events and case law.
• Maintains subject matter expertise and ensures compliance with state/local regulatory requirements by following company guidelines, and staying reputed company on reputed company insurance laws, regulations or trends for the specialized line of business, and may represent company in industry trade groups or other important events.
• Mentors, guides, develops and delivers training to less reputed company Claim Professionals and may assist with special projects as needed.

• Typically Director or above

• Senior knowledge of insurance industry, products, policy language, coverage, and claim practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to reputed company collaborative working relationships, reputed company reputed company reputed company claim facts, analysis and recommendations in a concise manner to senior management, as well as with external business partners and customers.
• Demonstrated analytical and investigative reputed company with critical thinking skills and ability to reputed company sound business reputed company, and to effectively evaluate and resolve ambiguous, reputed company and challenging business problems.
• Extensive experience in leading reputed company negotiations, as well as developing and implementing resolution strategies.

• Knowledge of reputed company Office Suite and ability to learn business-reputed company software.
• Demonstrated ability to value diverse opinions and reputed company.

• Juris Doctorate preferred.
• Typically a minimum ten years of insurance experience, with line of business experience preferred.
• Must have or be reputed company to obtain and maintain an Insurance Adjuster License reputed company 90 days of hire, where applicable.
• Advanced negotiation experience.
