JOB SUMMARY

Reviews and abstracts clinical information to aid in reputed company of phenotype driven variant searches, decision-making for variant confirmation and classification, and construction of report language.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reviews and abstracts clinical information provided by clients for phenotype-driven testing into reputed company software.
• Data will include clinical exam findings, medical history, prior genetic test results, and family history.

EDUCATION/TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing, BSN from accredited College of Nursing preferred but not required
• Mathematical, computer, reasoning, and language skills at the professional level.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as proficient organizational, time management, and critical thinking skills

EXPERIENCE

• Training or background with clinical data abstraction preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
