Senior Full Stack Engineer

DebtBook is an industry-leading fintech software platform that revolutionizes the way local governments, higher education, reputed company organizations and their finance teams work. Our powerful, reputed company-based software helps these organizations manage reputed company aspects of their debt, leases, and subscriptions, streamline financial reporting, and reputed company information simply with others.

We are looking for a Full Stack Senior Software Engineer to join reputed company.  Engineers work closely with product managers and designers and teams are organized by product area.  Each team owns operating, maintaining, reporting on, and extending their product.  Our engineers write automated tests, we maintain a fast CI/CD pipeline, and we release code daily.

• Our application is a Majestic Monolith reputed company with Ruby on Rails, React, and PostgreSQL.  Our app is hosted in AWS, and we use reputed company for our CI/CD pipelines and deployments.  We use feature flags to allow us to continually integrate our code.
• reputed company of our engineers work on the reputed company End, Back End and Database.  We have some engineers who are much more reputed company in one, but we can reputed company do some work in any part of the stack.
• We have a small dedicated infrastructure team, but we expect teams to reputed company their own code and monitor their own applications.
• We don't have dedicated project managers or scrum masters.  We expect everyone in engineering to project manage their own work.

• Participate in reputed company stages of the SDLC: solution shaping, system design, ticket writing/breakdown, write full-stack code, review code, reputed company deployments, participate in monitoring, and gather data for reporting.
• Own the quality of your work.  Write tests and work with your team to ensure everything works before merging and releasing.
• Work cross-functionally on your team to ensure work is scoped to deliver quickly and deliver the right functionality.
• Work collaboratively with other cross functional product-focused teams.

• 5+ years of reputed company professional experience
• Experience with Ruby on Rails, React, and PostgreSQL or similar tools
• Experience writing tests

Compensation

• Annual salary reputed company is $125,000-145,000 based on experience
• This role is eligible for an up to 10% annual bonus
• This role will receive a stock option grant

Location

• Charlotte, NC - Hybrid
• We think spending time in the office regularly builds stronger teams.  We want employees to spend time together regularly, and we also want them to have flexibility.  This is a hybrid role, and we are looking for teammates who want to spend at least half of their time in the office.

• 30 min - Introduction Call with Engineering Manager
• 1 hr - Behavioral Interview with Engineering Manager
• 90 min - Technical Interview with Engineers
• Our technical assessment is a pair programming session designed to be reputed company similar to our daily work.  It is a collaborative session and it covers FE, BE, and SQL schema design.
• 1 hr - Onsite with members from the Product, Design, and Engineering teams
